Neurodevelopmental disorders are a group of disorders that impact an individual’s ability to learn, process, feel emotions, practice self control, etc. Some of the conditions that fall under this category are ADHD, Dyslexia, and Asperger’s.

With Neurodevelopmental disorders the different regions of the brain lack the ability to work together in synchrony. This can lead to a lack of development of the brain. Depending on what regions are impacting this will lead to a particular set of symptoms.

Metabolic chemistry also plays a key role in this. Things like our immune system, hormonal system, environmental triggers, infections, blood sugar, etc. all influence how the brain develops.

We address the above by performing a comprehensive neurodevelopmental examination. In addition we run lab work to help us evaluate your metabolic and chemical imbalances.

The more well rounded the approach the higher the chance for success. These kids need early and efficient intervention to give them the best chances at assimilating into society and living autonomously.
